Rayya Deeb began her career in television production, working with HBO, Comedy Central, and PBS, where she gained valuable insight into the creative aspects of storytelling. Transitioning into film development, she spent three years at Fred Roos Productions, honing her skills in character and script exploration.

 

As a screenwriter, Rayya collaborated with world-renowned directors, actors, and producers on various film and television projects. Notably, she worked with Escape Artists, Lions Gate, and Golden Globe-winning filmmaker Hany Abu-Assad, crafting screenplays for two feature films.

 

In 2016, Rayya published her debut novel, Seneca Rebel, followed by Seneca Element in 2019. Now, with the release of Seneca Evolution on 5/5/25, she completes her genre-defining trilogy. Rayya has also partnered with Emmy-winning experience designers to create a dynamic, expanded-fiction world as a companion to the series, cementing The Seneca Society as a powerful exploration of technology, consciousness, and humanity's future.
